What was the article about?
There was an amazing article I read the other day from Readers’ Digest, a popular magazine subscribed by avid readers. It was about hydrating oneself at regular intervals and the pros and cons of this habit.
When did you read it?
I usually take time to read during weekends when I have ample hours to spend time with myself and do the things that I like. I guess I read this piece the last weekend, on Sunday.
How you came across this magazine and/ or article?
I have had a subscription to this publication for the past 10 years or so, and it comes up as a monthly digest. Sometimes, special editions are also published bi-monthly. Beneath the fun and excitement of its articles, it is also a serious magazine. It never loses sight of the fact that every day, individuals confront a tough, challenging world with political, health and routine issues.
Explain what lessons did you learn from it?
This particular article that I read informed me about the health benefits and the fiascos we face if we don’t hydrate ourselves rightly. It highlighted the daily requirements of water in our daily lives and emphasized the fact that women needed it more than men; especially if you are a working mom. I was startled to read about the disasters if we do not consume an ample amount of water each day. The write-up also gave examples of real people with their experiences and realizations towards this fact. It was quite an incredible read. I shared its snapshots with my close buddies and to a few social groups too. It indicated the aspect of healthy living through this quintessential habit.
